Frequently asked questions
Contract termination – general
The notice period is 30 days. It starts running the day following the delivery of the notice. If you need to terminate the service earlier, get in touch with us - if possible, we will agree on shortening this period.
According to Section 63 of Act No. 127/2005 Coll., on Electronic Communications, you can terminate the contract at any time.
If any contractual obligation remains to be billed after the termination of the contract, for example, a part of the discount for the remaining months of the fixed term or an activation fee, we will always use the option that is financially more advantageous for you.
We will contact you in advance and go through everything with you so that you know exactly what might be charged.
Often yes. Send us what you’ve agreed with the other operator (speed, price, contract length) – ideally also the contract PDF. If we can’t match the price, we’ll say so straight away.
If you have already signed a new contract, by law you have 14 days to withdraw - until then it is possible to return.
After confirming the termination, we will send you an overview of the borrowed equipment that needs to be returned. It will include a simple list with pictures so you can easily recognize what to find at home and prepare for return.
You can send the equipment by parcel or bring it in person to our headquarters.
If the equipment needs to be dismantled, we can send a technician to you. This dismantling is an independently charged service.
If you are dealing with a service malfunction, the fastest way is to use our fault reporting form. After entering the necessary data, the report is sent directly to the system for the technicians who will start dealing with the malfunction.
If you do not agree with the issued billing, you can file a billing complaint. The complaint must be filed no later than 2 months from the issuance of the billing. We will then investigate it and resolve it within 30 days.
Moving and life changes
When we have a network at the new address, we often manage it on the same day as the move. For other locations, usually within 5-10 business days.
We will check availability in advance and schedule the date with you so that the downtime is minimal.
Just send us the contact details for the new tenant. We will conclude a new contract with them and terminate your original contract on the agreed date.
The internet can thus continue in the apartment without unnecessary downtime. The new tenant usually saves the activation fee and you have the certainty that the service will no longer be registered to you.

A death certificate is sufficient. The contract can be either immediately terminated or transferred to a family member - depending on what suits you better.
For services provided on our own network, we allow temporary suspension for up to 6 months. During the suspension, you do not pay any flat rate or maintenance fee.
This option is particularly suitable for seasonal properties, such as cottages and cabins, but also for situations where you temporarily will not use the service due to a long-term stay away from home, illness, or other life situations.
If the service is provided through the CETIN a.s. network, i.e., DSL or OPTICAL for example, temporary suspension is unfortunately not possible. In that case, however, we can switch the service to the lowest available tariff, because you can change your tariff with us every month.
